Banksy vs Bristol

This is Banksy's first ever exhibition in his home town and I think he's really stepped things up since his book 'Wall And Piece'. I love the moving figures, and pieces like the chimp parliament shows that he is a really talented painter. I really like Banksy for his satire and his sense of humour.

  1. Did you go? the line was MASSIVE, I queued for four and a half hours, it was well worth it though. the downstairs area was the best as it was the highest concentration of his work were the rest of it was more splattered about. but it was well worth the que. you could somehow see the humor more in the upstairs galleries though because there were little bits and bobs hidden around.

  2. I didn't go but I had some mates who went down. They told me about the queues!! I've read your blog about it - great work. Sounded like a really good exhibition.

I love your description of people looking round, searching for the 'cool' pieces. I can totally imagine that happening!

  3. Oh and his humour... A rabbit wearing make-up is dead funny and then the more you think about it, the more you realise how critical and biting it is.
